Jason Marinelli
May 06, 1979 - November 15, 2019
Jason was a man with a strong character, full of personality and truly loved by his friends and family. Jason was known for his big heart, love of celebrating life and living in the moment. Jason was hard working - for years he did 12-hour days as a contractor supporting his family. He was a generous man who helped many with home projects; everyone that knew Jason knew they could call on him for help and he would be there. He enjoyed being with friends, playing poker, eating, trips up north and Florida family vacations. Jason was the biggest Michigan State football fan and he himself was an incredible athlete. Above all he loved his children, who brought joy to his life and gave his life purpose. He loved attending their sports games and taking them camping/fishing. Jason’s life partner Melissa was the love of his life, a bright light in his world. His mother Marilyn raised Jason as a single mom and their bond was unbreakable; they always had each other’s backs. He was an amazing big brother who would do anything for Kelly and Sean.
Jason is survived by his children: Dominick, Vanessa, and Alexander; life partner, Melissa; mother, Marilyn; siblings Kelly, Sean and Jennifer; and countless other family members and friends who loved him dearly.
In lieu of flowers, please consider providing monetary support for Jason’s family and children during this difficult time.
