Hello Friends,
If you have had the pleasure of knowing our friend Jorge Santana, you know that he is the kindest, hardest working person an amazing husband,father and uncle you will ever meet. Willing to go out of his way to help someone in need.
On June 15th our friend Jorge tested positive for COVID-19 and was admitted into the hospital for observation due to severe breathing issues. Initially, it was a thought that he would be hospitalized just for over the weekend but due to setbacks, he was sent up to the ICU to be in a medically induced coma and put on a ventilator in hopes of stabilizing him. His CT scan showed aggressive Covid-19 virus (inflammation) in his lungs. The doctors called it “severe” Covid pneumonia. Doctors are doing all they can to save him and have given him Tocilizumab, a medicine used only for patients that are very sick to help with the inflammation of their lungs. Our friend is fitting hard to be able to return home to his wife and kids.
Jorge is the sole provider and works tirelessly to care for his wife and kids. If you are able to help in any way, even just a few dollars, it would mean the world to the Santana family as they fight to pull through this. Updates will be posted as they become available.

** Update: As of 07/01/2020
Hello Friends, Jorge is still in ICU unit fighting to beat this virus and come home to his family. He's stable, still in a medically induced coma to help his lungs recover from the infection. Doctors have placed him on his stomach (prone positioning) to help increase the amount of oxygen getting to his lungs. Now, it's just a matter of time and waiting for his body to continue to fight. Let's continue to keep the FAITH & PRAYERS. Thank YOU so much for all the love and support to the Santana family. They are really GRATEFUL. Blessings!!
Funds:
Funds will be use to help his wife and childrens while Jorge is still fighting this virus in the hospital. We all know spending time in the hospital is very expensive, and experiencing financial hardship due to illness can be even more stressful with unexpected medical bills. As a sole provider income has been affected and financial needs are being jeopardize. Funds will be use for basis essentials ( food, rent, and medical bills)

His wife received a call from the doctor, and our friend Jorge is more stable today, no fever, they are still pursuing the prone positioning (laying him on his stomach. It's helping a lot with the oxygen level. Let's continue to PRAY for him and his family. God is GOOD. PRAISED THE LORD. Thank you so much for all the love and support to the Santana Family. **Update: AS of 07/08/2020
Hello Friends,
We have an update on Jorge. Doctor was trying to reduce the dosage of the medication that keeps him in the induced coma, and also lowering the oxygen level from the ventilator, however they find that he's having difficulties breathing on his own, causing him to stress and low blood pressure. For now they have decided to keep him in the induced coma to continue helping his lungs recover. Let's continue to pray for his recovery and for his wife and kids. God is GOOD and we have FAITH he will continue to fight to beat COVID19. Thank you so much, the Santana family is so grateful for the love and support.
