CANCER IS EXPENSIVE!
In the three months since my breast cancer diagnosis, I have had 3 surgeries, multiple doctor consultations, blood draws, mammograms, ultrasounds, biopsies, trips to Boston for second opinions, scans and been injected with radioactive dye (Not so pretty!).So many highs and lows. Days of stress and days of relief. Trying to balance raising kids with fears of not being there when they grow up. It's been a crazy few months with more medical treatment than I have had in my entire 41 years of life. I will soon start a month of radiation treatment in Boston. After 14 years of full time motherhood, this is the longest I will have been away from my two boys. But it's worth it to be away from them now, so that I can be there for them in the future! With food and housing added to all of the medical bills, it's more than a boatbuilder and a full time mom can handle. Please help make my month of treatment in the big city a little less stressful. Absolutely ANY donation is appreciated! I'm sending LOVE, PEACE and GOOD THINGS TO ALL. I am so thankful for the emotional support I have already found from so many. Cancer isn't easy....but love is helping me through. Thank you, from me....and from my family.
