On November 2, 2025, Our son Trent’s life changed in an instant. He was in a terrible car accident and had to be airlifted to Regions Hospital. His car was completely totaled, and when you see the photos, it’s clear that he’s incredibly lucky to be alive — we truly believe he had a guardian angel watching over him.
Trent suffered extensive injuries, including a 3mm brain bleed, fractured neck and lumbar vertebrae, air around his lungs, and damage to his spleen, liver, kidney, and adrenal gland. He also needed stitches in his face and has a broken ankle.
The doctors say his recovery will be long, but thankfully, they are confident he will make a full recovery with time, rest, and rehabilitation. For now, Trent remains in the ICU while doctors closely monitor his brain bleed and internal organs. Once he’s stable, he’ll be moved to another floor to continue healing.
Anyone who knows Trent knows how hardworking and independent he is. He takes pride in paying his own way and never asks for help. Even from his hospital bed, he’s worrying about how he’ll cover his bills — and he’s heartbroken about losing his car, which he spent countless hours working on and took so much pride in. He poured his time, effort, and care into that car, and losing it on top of everything else has been really difficult for him.
Because of his injuries, it is unknown on when he will be able to get back to work. We’ve started this GoFundMe to help ease that burden by covering medical expenses, ongoing treatments, and living costs while he focuses on getting better.
Any amount — big or small — will make a difference and help relieve some of the stress as Trent heals. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page or keeping Trent in your prayers means the world to us.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
