Help Frank Fight Pancreatic Cancer

Hello. For those that don't know me, my name is Kayla, and I'm creating this GoFundMe, along with my siblings, on behalf of our dad, Frank, who was recently diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer.

This is not the first time cancer has hit our family - we lost our Mom to cancer in 2020 and I lost my husband, Andy, to cancer in 2018. Now, as our dad begins his fight, the weight of the world feels even heavier.

Frank has been an independent truck driver for 40+ years - one of the hardest working people I know. This career is not easy; it requires 12-14 hour days five times a week, missing family functions and time away from home, but he always kept going to make sure we had what we needed. Now, he needs to take time off the road to fight for his life.

What we’re facing

Our dad will be undergoing a major surgery, July 17, followed by chemotherapy, and will be unable to work the next few months. Unfortunately, he does not have a retirement, 401k, or savings - so without his regular income, it's going to be nearly impossible to keep up with rent, utilities, groceries, and growing medical expenses.

He's never been the type to ask for help, but we're at a point where we truly need it.
