Damon's Mission Trip to Medellín
Tax deductible
I have always been passionate about working with kids and set a good example for them to become positive role models for when they become adults. I have been eagerly looking to find organization(s) that would fill the void of giving back to the youth today on my free time, but that is hard when I work a full-time day job. By God’s grace, I got in touch with someone who runs an organization called the Emiliani Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and nurturing orphaned and abandoned children. The more I talked to him and the more I read about the organization, the more I fell in love with the organization.
I will be attending their bi-yearly mission trip to Medellín, Colombia July 28th, 2018 to August 5th, 2018 and I would like to raise donations for their organization.
Currently, they are working on a project where they are in need of a new playground for the orphanage that is over $140,000 and are continually looking for donations. Any donation would help and would be appreciated. Below is a summary of their purpose.
About the Emiliani Project: Our mission is to protect, nurture and educate abandoned children so that they are able to live healthy and fulfilling lives, from childhood through early adulthood. We achieve this mission by ensuring that all of our children’s needs are met. This includes a home, nutritious meals, formal education, medical care, counseling, and a loving and caring environment. We work with all children in need, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity or gender.
