Help Parker McDonald fight cancer

Parker and his family have received devastating news. Parker has officially relapsed, the cancer is back and he will be starting treatment again. In 2023 Parker underwent a Rotationplasty while fighting his battle with Ewing Sarcoma, a rare form of bone cancer. His family is heartbroken but trying to stay strong for Parker and Kyley right now. 

At a time when this young man should be off enjoying summer with friends, swimming, fishing and preparing to start hockey and just doing normal kid stuff he is forced to attend CHEO for aggressive chemotherapy. 

Parker has already shown incredible strength and resilience in his young life while being his brave usual self and he keeps telling his family that he is ready to fight this and be cancer free again. Parker will undergo about 6+ months of chemotherapy followed by radiation which requires daily trips to Ottawa (1 hour). Mom Stephanie is off work during this time and has been a pillar of strength and positivity through this challenging journey trying to keep a positive environment for Parker. 

As of right now, we are positive Parker is in the best hands at CHEO and everyone is fighting for him. We are so thankful for the positive thoughts and caring people surrounding Parker and his family right now. All proceeds will go directly to Parker’s family to help alleviate the medical expenses and other daily expenses the family requires.

Parker has spent the past year advocating and raising funds for CHEO/oncology and is very passionate about helping other children who are also fighting this disease, while fighting his own battle. He truly is a warrior.
