A Last Hope to Save a Family Home

Hello Everyone!

This is an appeal from a human to the humanity with a hope to save my home, the roof over my head. Asking for people to make donations to help me save my home feels like one of the most embarrassing things I have ever done in my 60 years of life, but I am truly left with no other option. As I run out of time, this Go Fund Me campaign is my last resort, and you people are my last hope. I am going to share my story with you with a hope that you will consider helping me raise enough funds to save this place where my children grew up.

I am a  60 year old man in who lost his job two years ago and who is currently struggling with his mortgage payments. Everything was going fine as I got the bank to do a repayment plan for the months, we were behind on mortgage payments. However, after making only 8 payments, COVID-19 struck the world, and I lost my job again. After losing another job, I collected unemployment while looking for work, but I got to learn a sad reality of life that nobody really wants to hire a 60 year old man.

let me tell you with absolute confidence that if I had a job, I would have made my mortgage payments on time. I know life is a combination of ups and downs, but this has been undoubtedly the lowest point in my entire life. I never thought that it could get so bad that I will be at the verge of losing my home. However, when there is a will, there is a way and I am still optimistic that there is going to be a way, there has to be. I can already see the light at the end of this very dark tunnel, and I am counting on all the support I can get from you folks.

When the pandemic hit, I was put into a forbearance but now the forbearance is up, and I only have till the end of September . Moreover, I have also been informed that there is no chance for another modification. As if all the above-mentioned troubles weren’t enough, I broke my leg just two days before I was going to start my new job that I had recently found. My new employers understood the situation and gave me time to heal, and they have my gratitude for this understanding and support.

I am confident that with my new job, I will be able to make the payments due in my mortgage contract. I am someone who has never backed down from helping people and families on every occasion. Whether it is a Christmas or a Thanksgiving, my focus has always been to help people. Today, time and destiny has brought me to a point where I need help and let me tell you that I would like to pay you people back if you could help.

People,

I have no regrets in life and I am proud of the things that I have done for the people in need, and also for my children and family. I only wish I had more options but unfortunately, there is none. Therefore, please help me reach my goal of raising $55,000 with your support and backing, and I will be truly grateful to you. I have nothing to hide, which is why I have shared the mortgage statement without personal things whited out.

You are my last hope in these tough times and remember that every single dollar you pledge to my campaign will make a great difference in my life. I know I am 60 but I haven’t lost the will to struggle. I am surrounded by darkness, but I can clearly see light on the horizon. Once again, please help save my family home by making pledges to my campaign and help a fellow human in need.
