((Accepting Donations)) New Initiative
Healing Uvalde Murals:
There is strength in unity! There is nothing more we want than to come together to uplift the town of Uvalde and to honor the victims of this tragedy, may they never be forgotten.
21 Murals is an idea initiated by Abel Ortiz, an artist and professor that lives and teaches in Uvalde. Before the murals get started we will be asking for a blessing and consent from the families.
In addition to the 21 portrait murals , 2 murals will be created with children led by artists that are experienced in working with children/youth.
In collaboration with MAS Cultura, a roster of participating Texas Region artists have bene selected.
This initiative is powered by donations: GOFUND and Handbid Auction sponsored by MAS Cultura, Collectors Of Chicano/Latinx Art and Allies, and Art Lab-Uvalde
How to give: Effective 05/29/22, 11:59 pm any money donated will be automatically allocated to the Uvalde Strong Unidos 21 Murals.
