Hi, my name is Fenec, and I’m reaching out with a heart full of hope.

Four years ago, I experienced something that changed my life — both in the most beautiful and the most painful ways. I carried my baby for 42 weeks, desperately pleading with my OB to deliver sooner. My body was breaking down — literally. My stretch marks were tearing open and bleeding through my clothes, but I was told everything was “measuring fine.”

I’m only 5’3” and weighed 100lbs before pregnancy. I gained over 80lbs in just a matter of months. My body was pushed far beyond its limits. After an emergency C-section caused by dangerously rising heart rates for both me and my baby, my little one arrived — healthy and perfect. And for that, I’m endlessly grateful.

But my own body never recovered.

Today, I live with the physical and emotional aftermath of what happened. The excess skin around my belly isn’t just a cosmetic issue — it’s numb, lifeless, and a constant reminder of the trauma my body endured. No amount of exercise or healthy eating can undo the damage. I’ve tried everything. The only remaining option is surgery.

This isn’t about vanity. It’s about feeling like myself again. It’s about reclaiming my confidence, my comfort, and my peace.
