SPLISH, or Speech Language Intensive Summer Help, is a summer camp program for children with autism hosted by UVa's Sheila C. Johnson Center for Human Services. It is a summer camp that includes intervention programs such as a modified behavioral approach and a modified natural language learning approach. The children receive three 50-minute teatment sessions a day, provided by graduate students in UVa's Speech Language Pathology Master's program. We're hoping to raise money for full tuition for two children (or half tuition for four children) for the six-week camp, and hope you can contribute in any way you can! A flier with more information about SPLISH is below.
