UVA Child Development Center Fundraiser for Staff

The UVA Child Development Center Parent Support Group is raising money for CDC staff at Copeley and Earhart whose income is being diminished due to limited student attendance as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. CDC and Kindercare have graciously stopped charging tuition for students who are not attending during this time, but the unfortunate result of that decision is that center staff are not being compensated to the extent that they would if centers were operating under normal conditions. We all know how hard center staff work to keep our children happy and thriving. The Parent Support Group is hoping to raise money to provide directly to staff in order to support them during these difficult times. We recognize that some parents have already organized fundraising for your specific teachers and we certainly don't discourage that. We are hoping to raise money for those teachers and other staff who haven't yet received financial support. Anything you can give is appreciated!
