I have a co-worker that has a beautiful 10-year old loyal Yorkie, Diesel, who was very recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with Lymphoma. I cannot imagine what Diesel’s medical bills are but I know they have to be astronomical. Let’s come together to show our support for this wonderful human and her precious pup, and help her financially during this extremely difficult time. His story is below: August 20, 2025 - Diesel saw the oncologist and the ophthalmologist in tandem today. Combined with the additional testing of the left eyeball tissue and today's appointment, Diesel was officially diagnosed with lymphoma. The biopsy of the eyeball confirmed that there was cancer within the eye, which in turn, caused the glaucoma.

He has a left head tilt and his right eye has conjunctival hyperemia and a mass effect in the anterior chamber. The recent changes to the right eye suggest that the lymphoma may be involved in his right eye, similar to how it rapidly attacked his left. The doctor also noted that this can affect the central nervous system, and she is worried that it already has. Diesel was presented with 2 options for chemotherapy, with one being more aggressive than the other. Or...the latter...

It's crazy to think about how fast this all came to be, considering he was cleared and in good health at his annual on June 19th. There did not appear to be any hints on the report of the bloodwork done at that time. He was my perfect puppy ❤️ To recap, this all kicked off with the anterior uveitis diagnosis of the left eye, turned glaucoma, resulting in enucleation of the eye, revealing lymphoma. During this process he was diagnosed with stage 2 heart disease, 2 lumps on his spine and 1 lump on his right leg developed, his right eye is now experiencing similar symptoms as his left, and now the head tilt which is a sign of oncoming neurological issues. To say little fella has gone through it, is an understatement. But to see him smile every day through all of this, is inspiring. I pray that I continue to make good decisions with his quality of life in mind. I am beyond thankful for all of the medical teams that have worked on Diesel's case.
