Sarah’s smile

A couple of weeks ago, Sarah posted pictures of celebrating her birthday with Leo. She was all smiles and rocking her signature red lips. What you couldn’t see in those pictures was the anxiety from news Sarah received earlier in the day.

Sarah got the call no one wants to get. Certainly not on your birthday! The lump in her neck is thyroid cancer.

If you know Sarah, you love Sarah. You also know she tends to be private. She doesn’t ask for help, almost to a fault. I DID ask her before I created this go fund me. Sarah was hesitant at first (ok, she still is),but this was created to let her friends and family help.

Sarah will have surgery soon. Thankfully, prognosis is very good, and she will back to her smiling, red lipped, energetic self in no time.

In the mean time, she will be out of work recovering from surgery. The less stress over everything else, the better.

The costs associated with a cancer diagnosis can add up quickly.

Any money could help Sarah and Leo cover co-pays, meds, parking, and anything else they may need. Even if it helps take the girls out for a day, it will help make such a difference!
