On January 1st, my parents and youngest brother lost their home in a devastating fire. We are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out safely, but the loss they are facing is immense, and this has been a heartbreaking way to begin the year.

Along with their home, they lost the sense of safety and stability it provided, as well as beloved members of their family. Their cherished dogs, Oliver and Koda, were lost in the fire. My mother also lost her reptiles, Mickey and Minnie, Sushi, and their Quaker parrot, Wilson. These animals were deeply loved, and their absence has left a profound ache.

Right now, my family is grieving and trying to take the first steps toward rebuilding their lives from the ground up. If you are able, I am asking for donations in whatever amount feels comfortable to you. Every contribution will help provide support as they begin to recover from this tragedy.
