Help send an alcoholic in recovery to camp

Ithaca Area Women’s Advance (IAWA) is seeking donations to helpfund our 18th annual retreat.

IAWA brings together those identifying as women and non-binary folks from the Tompkins county area (and beyond!) for an annual cabin-style weekend retreat. The purpose of the retreat is to connect folks who are recovering from alcoholism and/or substance abuse in a safe, fun and encouraging environment.

Recovery opportunities shouldn’t be a financial burden. In the past, money raised has helped cover the cost of meals, lodging and travel for dozens of retreat participants. IAWA members and the overall recovery community agree that it is imperative to make experiences like this accessible to more folks by offering no or low cost options.

This retreat is an opportunity to deepen our recovery, make meaningful connections, and be part of something truly healing for ourselves and our fellows!
