Look around the streets of Miami and you will see hundreds of stray cats and stray dogs lingering around — skinny, hungry, tired, lonely and scared. According to the Animal Services of Miami-Dade, more than 37,000 animals come in and out of the local animal shelters each year. Around 6,000 get adopted, rescue missions find homes for about 8,000, and the rest are euthanized.
Diesel is one of those dogs where the only things standing in between a loving family and a cold grave are the efforts of the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), and donations from people like you.
The HSUS Animal Rescue Team is responsible for the rescue, care, placement and rehoming of thousands of animals every year, in our own South Florida neighborhoods.
The brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity at the University of Miami, feel deeply for the thousands of neglected animals in our city and hope that you feel the same. Please, donate for the animals, donate for Diesel!!
Thank you,
The brothers of Alpha Sigma Phi, Gamma Theta Chapter, University of Miami.
