I'm Mandy Rossi, Co-Chair of Ashford Green Party — and I'm asking for your help.

Back in 2019, we made history by winning our first two seats on Ashford Borough Council. Fast forward to today, and we’ve grown to ten passionate, hard-working Green councillors, all making a real difference across Ashford. And since May 2023 we've been in joint administration with the Ashford Independents, working to deliver a bold, community-focused vision for the future of our town.

In 2021, we gained our first ever seat on Kent County Council. But at the last election, Reform swept all seven Ashford KCC seats. Despite strong local support and relentless campaigning, we lost our Green voice at County Hall.

Now, with local government reorganisation looming, the stakes couldn’t be higher. A new Unitary Authority is on the horizon — and we must ensure that it includes a strong, visible Green presence at the table. That campaign starts now.

We have the experience. We have the energy. We have the plan.

What we need is the funding.

The KCC Election campaign cost nearly £6,000 — and with larger, combined seats likely ahead, we need to raise at least £5,000 to top up our funds.
