Hi, I’m Mandy Rossi, Co-Chair of Ashford Green Party — and I’m asking for your help.

Back in 2019, we made history by winning our first two seats on Ashford Borough Council. Fast forward to today, and we’ve grown to ten passionate, hard-working Green councillors, all making a real difference across our communities.

Since May 2023, we’ve been in joint administration with the Ashford Independents, working to deliver a bold, community-focused vision for the future of our town — one built on fairness, sustainability, and care for people and planet.

But now, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

With local government reorganisation on the horizon, a new Unitary Authority is coming — and we must ensure there’s a strong, visible Green voice at the table. At the same time, we’re gearing up for the next General Election, where we have the chance to show that real, positive change starts right here in Ashford.

Both campaigns begin now.

We have the experience.

We have the energy.

We have the plan.

What we need is the funding.

We’re aiming to raise £30,000 to power both our Unitary Authority and General Election campaigns.

Your donation — big or small — can make a real, visible difference:

£50 buys 10 “Vote Green” poster boards, showing support loud and clear across Ashford.

£300 funds 10,000 campaign leaflets, reaching voters directly on their doorsteps.

£1,000 pays for a full campaign day across multiple wards — leaflets, materials, and logistics.

£15,000 funds a part-time campaign organiser, helping coordinate volunteers, events, and election strategy across our area.

Every single contribution helps us reach more voters, spread our message, and get more Greens elected.

In 2021, our County Council campaign cost around £6,000. The next one will be bigger, tougher, and even more important. We can’t afford to be quiet when the future of local democracy — and our planet — is at stake.
