Hello everyone! My name is Rachel Compson.  I am starting this Go Fund Me page for my cousin Lisa Sheldon. Many people in our community have grown to know her over the past 20 plus years as she has taken their orders at McDonald's in Mexico, NY. Always greeting everyone with her beautiful smile and kindness in the drive-thru. Lisa is such a sweet and humble soul.

Recently, Lisa had to be transported to a hospital in Manhattan, NY for emergency surgery on an abscess that was infecting her body.  She was also  diagnosed  with Covid pneumonia which her body was really struggling with. Once in Manhattan she was placed on a ventilator and also dialysis as she began to have kidney failure.  All of this has been so traumatic for Lisa and her family.  

Our family is so grateful for the countless people in our community who  have extended so many heart warming words, thoughts and prayers for Lisa's healing.  Lisa is making improvements slowly,  however doctor's have said it will be a long road ahead to recovery. She has already had to undergo several surgeries to take care of the abscess and infection as well as all the treatments for Covid pneumonia and kidney failure. 

All of this has of course is creating a huge financial burden.  We are hopeful to raise as much as we can to help Lisa in this time of need. 100 % of all funds raised will go directly to Lisa to help with all the medical expenses incurred as well as any other needs she has for her healing.  Any amount given will truly be appreciated!
