Help my dad beat pancreatic cancer!

Hi, my name is Libby Burchett and I am wanting to raise money for my parents. My dad, Stacey was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in early 2022. Since then it has rapidly progressed and is now at stage 4. After a year of chemo treatments, it was determined that the chemo was no longer working and the disease had started to become very aggressive. Then my parents were introduced to the possibility of my dad being enrolled into a clinical trial. The trial entails a new drug that has only been around for a few months and its purpose is to target his specific gene mutation. My dad bravely decided to participate. The only issue is that the trial required them to pack up and leave all family and friends in Colorado & move to San Antonio indefinitely. After many tests to determine his eligibility, the clinical trial began early august. Not even a full week later my dad developed a bacterial infection in his blood stream which caused very serious health issues for him and he was rushed to the ER and admitted into the ICU. He is stable today as I am writing this, but still admitted into the hospital. Additionally, my dad has decided to go on disability to relieve some of his stress load. This will most likely put my parents in a financial bind as my dad will not be making his usual salary. I want to do anything I can to help them and support them in this hardship, but I cannot do it alone. All I hope for one day is that my dad will be able to see me get married, walk me down the isle, and be the best grandfather to my future children. At this point, I’m not sure he will be able to get to see that. I appreciate anything and everything, even a simple prayer. It will mean to world to me and my family. I want to surprise my parents with the money I raise… so if you know my parents please keep it a secret!! My dad is the strongest person I know and he continues to have a positive attitude despite the huge obstacles he is facing. Keep fighting dad, I love you.
