DESCRIPTION

In this chick flick inspired comedy horror, Sophie a popular teenage girl learns to deal with the death of her boyfriend, Tommy. After becoming desperate she uses black magic to try and revive him, but things go wrong after he comes back a little more murderous than before. Will Sophie get “the love of her life” back, or will she need to send him back to the grave for good?

WHY THIS FILM?

After watching our female movie stars, lose less and less of their femininity when playing action hero’s, we’ve decided to flip this genre on its head. This short film is our argument against women needing to take on male traits in order to be described as badass and heroic. Our lead character Sophie is proof to Hollywood that girls can be pink and feminine but still be strong and powerful. While there have been a few releases the past year that can help prove our point, it’s still not common practice and we want to play a part in making it so.
