Jordan Crosby's Migraine Surgery

Hi, my name is Jordan Crosby, and I am a 16 year old from Plano, Texas. About 3 1/2 years ago my life totally changed. I woke up on January 10, 2012 with a migraine, but unlike most people’s migraines, mine didn’t go away. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. We saw doctor after doctor and they ran every test they could think of. I was hospitalized a few times, had more ER visits than I can count, and missed school for weeks at a time. My faith in God was really tested, but I knew He would see me through. Finally, after 18 months, my migraine went away for a couple weeks... but then it came back.
Since then I have continued to battle migraines almost daily and have had more hospital stays, ER visits, and missed more school. I also had to give up football. We have seen nearly 30 doctors, but none of them have been able to offer any lasting relief or hope—until now.
This year we met a doctor who performs a migraine surgery that has seen very good results, and we scheduled surgery for June 16. The surgery lasts about 4 hours. About 60% of the people who undergo the procedure don’t have any more migraines at all, and 90% of the people have their migraines cut in half.
The challenge is that we recently found out that insurance will not cover the surgery. My mom and dad are committed to doing whatever they can to make sure I can have this, and obviously it is really important to me too. The cost of the surgery has been estimated by the doctors at $17,649.
Would you please help me get my life back by contributing to the cost of surgery? Any size gift will help - $50, $100, $250, $500, $1000 or any other amount God puts on your heart. Also, please pray that God will use the surgery to totally wipe out my migraines.
