Hi, my name is Eli, and I'm fundraising for my friend and coworker, Maria Rodriguez. Recently, Maria missed a week's work due to Covid, and the following week, she was hit by a driver who had fallen asleep at the wheel on the highway. As a result, she sustained serious injuries and is still unable to fully return to work. By no fault of her own, she has been put into a stressful financial situation, and I would be incredibly grateful if you could help out! Maria is a wonderful coworker, friend, and person who doesn't deserve the awful luck she has had lately.
