In the middle of January, a fire broke out in my apartment building, and I was only able to escape with my life and my dog. I lost everything—my home, clothing, furniture, and personal belongings. This fundraiser is to help me stay afloat while I work to find a new place to live.

Finding housing has been especially difficult because it’s been hard to find a place where my dog is truly welcome and will be happy. Giving him up is not an option—he is the best part of my life, the only thing I was able to save that truly matters, and the main reason I have the motivation to keep moving forward through all of this.
