Janessa is three years old and was diagnosed with down syndrome at birth. Since birth, she has struggled with heart conditions that include the ductus venosus that failed to close and other heart conditions that include atrial septal defect (ASD), and ventricular septal defect (VSD). Janessa has already undergone 2 surgeries to close the ductus venosus and a surgery to correct the ASD. On July 7, 2015, Janessa is scheduled to undergo open heart surgery to correct the VSD at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF) Children's Hospital. Janessa's parents will have to travel to San Francisco and stay nearby to monitor Janessa's Surgery and recovery and frequent follow ups. We are asking for any donations to help us with travel costs, expensive hotel stays and daily parking in the hospital  as Janessa's father will take time off of work to be by Janessa's side.  As of Janessa's father is the only person in the household that bring income to support our family.
