Help My Sister Beat Cancer

My sister received devastating news at the end of April 2020. Before I go in to her diagnoses and treatment plans let me tell you a little about her.
She has always been a caretaker since I can remember. A caretaker in the sense that she is always putting other peoples needs above hers and taking care of everyone outside of her professional life. To see her in the situation she is in now, is heartbreaking for all of us in the family. She never depended on anyone for help and now she has to. Luckily we are here to support her in every way as much as we can. Since most of us have been laid off and affected by covid-19 helping out financially is becoming very difficult for us.
She was working as a family advocate helping to support and provide resources for low income families in the area. Through her profession she was always giving back to the community, whether that be time or resources. She just really enjoys helping others and now its time for us to help her. Unfortunately, a couple months after her diagnoses she was laid off and the non-profit organization she worked for shut down permanently. So with no job and no health insurance things became tough.
She was diagnosed with colorectal cancer at the end of April of this year. She went in for an exam due to pain in the area. The Dr's found a mass in the rectum that they tested for biopsy. And sure enough the results were what nobody ever wants to hear. She tested positive for cancer. Immediately after she had screen after screen and lab after lab to determine what direction she should go for treatment. Hearing that in itself has been really stressful for her and the family. Also with covid-19 things have been a little more stressful. Because of new hospital policies she had to endure all of her appointments by herself without any support. And all other cancer care resources have been temporarily suspended because of covid.
So with no job and no insurance the medical bills are just adding up. I'm creating this gofundme to ask help from everyone. Im hoping to raise enough money to help her pay for her past medical bills/future medical bills and also to help pay for her other bills so she's not drowning in debt. This disease is very expensive if you don't have the right coverage. I believe she will beat this disease and with your help we can create a stable life for her and remove the financial stress from her so she can heal properly.
