Some take the high road, others take the low road, but me, I take the one less traveled.

Sure as day, life would have it's way and a cyst that grew beyond proportion has caused me some major shoulder damage. One month post-op, my healing was going smoothly; right up until my dog caught my footing.  I've had  another surgical intervention to try to repair it.  My escalating medical bills, loss of income and contract work have thwarted my stride.

Most of you know that I love being a Physical Therapist and, along with teaching pilates and yoga, I have a lifelong love of swimming.  At this juncture, I can still teach pilates but my years of medical education and hands-on patient care are now offset by pain and an unforseen and difficult financial situation. I will continue to teach but will not be able to meet my monthly medical and routine bills without my regular income. Post-op, my bills alone are reaching close to $15,000.00.

I ask for your support on all fronts, including the financial one, as well. I'm still here, steadfast and forward-thinking. If you're able, please help me through the rehab process and these muddy financial waters. I am and will be forever grateful for your time, kindness and warmth.
