UU Candidacy Support for Casey Akers

Hi! Thank you so much for your support. I am in the UU candidacy process and need additional funds to complete the next step. These funds will pay for CPE training, Career Assessment, and small fees for processing further paperwork and applications. Unitarian Universalism is an inclusive, pluralistic faith focused on connection and engagement for multiple faith structures.

Statement of Calling

Through education and personal connection, I am inspired to pursue multiple aspects of Parish Ministry. I recognize that there are various aspects of healing. While bodies can recover, often the essence of a person needs extra time and care to heal. Understanding social and spiritual beliefs in others helps me aid in that recovery with a deeper understanding of their life experience. Ministry demands a passion for justice towards human rights and equitable opportunities for all who call this world home.
