Time to Grieve ....

I find it so sad that our BC labour laws only allow 3 days (unpaid) when a loved one is deceased. My co-worker/friend lost her husband/father to her young daughter to suicide yesterday. She cannot afford to even take 'A' day to grieve (as it stands, she works 6 days a week, just to makes ends meet). Today, the day after her husbands death ... she is here, at work, because she HAS to be (financially).  At work, we have NO benefits, NO sick days and medical EI is too little for her to live on.  Please, if you can - even $5 .... lets help her and show her that people do care.  She is an AMAZING woman ... she deserves love, prayers and support!  I hope that we can at least give her enough to take the days she needs to grieve.
