The Veterans Memorial Graduate Business Fellowship Endowment is set up to honor the 13 fallen service members in the recent Afghanistan evacuation, all fallen service members, Veterans and Active Duty Service Members.
The Veterans Memorial Graduate Business Endowment was created with the guidance of Steve Hamer, Assistant Director of Development with the Tennessee Fund, and Jerry Hanner, Director of Development with the Haslam School of Business, at the University of Tennessee. 100% of the funds raised will be donated to University of Tennessee and will then qualify for the dollar for dollar match at the Haslam School of Business at the University of Tennessee.
The scholarship will be given to:
- An individual seeking their graduate studies with the Haslam School of Business
- Has a family tie to the military (active or veteran status; Gold Star family member)
- or an individual coming from a service academy (Navy/Army/etc.) or military university (VMI/The Citadel/etc.)
