U-Turns Football, Basketball and Music Academy was founded in Uganda from a simple belief: sport and music has the power to change lives. Not just by developing better performers, but by building better people, through structure, education, and opportunity.

Too many young kids in Africa fail not because they don't have talent, ambition, and passion, but because of lack access to the right environment, guidance, and support. U-Turns exists to change that. Our aim is to create a modern academy that combines high-level sport and music development with education, life skills, and a genuine player-centred approach.

This project is about doing things differently. It’s about challenging traditional systems and creating an environment where every individual is seen, supported, and given the opportunity to grow both on and off the pitch, court or stage.

We are now looking for support to help bring this vision to life. Your contribution will go directly towards building the foundation of the academy, facilities, coaching, education programmes, and access for children who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity.
