Help Elisha Beat Cancer
Donation protected
Elisha, a wife and mother of four, has recently undergone her third brain surgery. Eleven years ago at the age of 22, Elisha was diagnosed with a rare brain cancer, medulloblastoma. This cancer is usually found in children under the age of 14. It is extremely rare for an adult to get it but this is the second time Elisha has been diagnosed with this cancer. In 2004, Elisha went through 7 weeks of radiation and 3 months in the hospital.
This last March, Elisha had shooting pains in her head. She was rushed to the hospital and told she had a massive brain bleed. After an MRI and many tests, they found the cancer was back. She has been in and out of the hospital over the last few weeks. She is currently having her treatments at City of Hope which is 180 miles round trip from their house. It is costing the family a lot of money in gas and food getting Elisha to and from the hospital for her appointments and treatments along with her prescriptions and everyday life expenses. Elisha has to do chemo, stem cell treatment, and much more and it is very expensive.
Elisha is married to her husband Erik of 14 years. They have four kids, Justin 15, Zachary, 13, Kaylee 6, and Aubrey 2. This has been a trying time for the family and it is only going to get harder. Elisha misses her kids dearly as they are usually staying with family and friends while she is going back and forth to City of Hope. The family appreciates any and all help whether it be financial or emotional. Prayers are always welcome as well!
