Support needed for UTS University (syd) degree admission fee

Hi Friends, perfect day!

For the new friends/connections, myself Murugs, living in Sydney, Australia. Profession is IT Program Manager.

I'm looking for your kind help to support a student with her Cyber Security degree course admission with UTS University, Sydney.

Student Background:

From Malaysia.

Her parents got separated when she was 2 years old and brought up by her mother.

Mother: Pre-school teacher.

Father: Technician.

State topper in higher secondary (Seramban, Malaysia).

Wanted to pursue a Cyber Security degree.

As no one was there to support her for higher study, she was working as a tutor in a tuition center.

My connection with the Student:

I met this student in 2023 in Malaysia and got to know about her aspiration and the situation. Determined to help her on her further study. Explored options in Sydney as there is no option in Malaysia.

Found that UTS (Universit of Technology Sydney) offered Cyber Security degree course along with 1 year Foundation course which is the prerequisite for the degree admission.

Helped her to get admission for the Foundation course in June 2024 intake. Paid AUD 30,000 for the course. She has completed Foundation course with a 9.1/10 GPA. Class topper.

As she has scored 9.1 GPA, University has awarded her with a 30% scholarship for her Cyber Security degree course. Her 1st semester admission fee is AUD 18,343 after the scholarship discount. And the due date to pay the fee was 31st Jan 2025.

For her degree course, I was arranging for scholarship and education loan in Malaysia with the help of her parents. I was informed that the loan will be processed before 31st Jan and the fee will be directly paid to Univesrsity. Unfortunately the loan process needed more documentation from the parents which is taking more time than anticipated and eventually missed out the payment due date. The current status is that the loan processing will take over 15 to 20 days more to get it fully approved.

In the mean time, I managed to pay AUD 6000 to the University and got two weeks extension to pay the remaining fee of AUD 12,343.

As I am in financial hardship at the moment and out of work from 8th Feb, seeking support from helping minded and kind hearted people to join me to help the student to have a career and a life.

For me it is bit of a financial burden. But for the student, it is a LIFE.

Need to pay AUD 12,343 by 15th Feb, 2025 to secure her Cyber Security degree course.

The course start date is 17th Feb.

Help needed:

For subsequent semester fees, loan arrangements are in progress. Help needed for the admission fee for 1st semester.
