Support Striking Starbucks Baristas in West Palm Beach

Workers at the Starbucks at 4380 Forest Hill Blvd in West Palm Beach have taken the courageous step of joining the nationwide indefinite strike after months of stalled negotiations. These baristas are fighting for the basics every worker deserves: reliable hours, livable wages, and an end to rampant union-busting.

This fund is specifically dedicated to supporting the West Palm Beach baristas with lost wages and meals throughout the strike. Striking is never easy, especially during the holiday season, but these workers are standing up for all of us by demanding dignity and fairness on the job.

Last week, this store became the first in Palm Beach County to unionize. On November 4th these workers joined thousands of barista’s around the country in a strike against unfair labor practices. They will be holding the picket line Wednesday through Sunday, all day, from now until Christmas Eve.
