Emergency help for me and my children

Story

Dear friends and family, anyone that knows me knows haw difficult it is for me to have to make something like this. As many of you know 4 months ago I gave birth to my pretty little girl Jade. Throughout my entire pregnancy until 3 days before scheduled birth, I worked 8-10 hours every day. I saved a great amount of money to get an affordable apartment for me and my 2 kids and have extra to pay the rent and bills for the months after while I recovered from the surgery so that I would never have to rely on anyone else during my leave. Last month was my last month before returning back to work from maternity leave. I had the rent, I had the money for my bills…. I gave it to the father of my child with the promise that he will go to the bank and handle it. Days later I received a letter on my door saying that it was not paid. He decided to use the money I handed him to go pay the rent, for his own leisure . His excuse was that he just needed it for something “real quick” and will pay it back the day after. I never got a penny back A week later, he assaulted me. Not once, not twice, but 3 times in one week. I was left with 2 black eyes, a busted lip, and a cut cheek. His promise was, as long as I didn’t call the cops, he will pay the rent, but if I did, I would be left alone “homeless with those 2 kids”. Due to the severity of the assaults back to back, I had no choice. I called for help. Left with nothing, I finally got the notice on my door to pay in 3 days or leave. I called the woman’s domestic violence crises center and they said they’re completely full. My only option would be a homeless shelter in Tampa away from all family and friends. I can’t imagine having to have my toddler and newborn go through that, or have to loose them, all because an evil man wants to see us fall if he’s not apart of the success. I’m a dedicated worker & have always been an independent woman. I didn’t expect the person I should be able to trust the most is trying to make me fall with the kids during my most vulnerable state financially, solely because of maternity leave . Asking for help is the last thing I ever come to do but, I’m not alone anymore, and I have to think about my children even if it’s humiliating. These funds are solely what I need to pay the court and late fees so I can get back to work next week and continue providing a happy healthy life for my children. Every and any penny helps us get closer to saving me and my babies. If you can’t donate, feel free to send this to some people who might help.
