Utility Support for the Amos Family

With permission from my best friend, Akilah Scott-Amos. I am creating this fundraiser to provide financial support for a family during a most trying time. Just FIVE days ago, Akilah Scott-Amos received a notification for an astronomical electric bill due to the unfair rate gouging that has been a result of the recent inclimate weather conditions in Texas. Since then, the bill has more than tripled daily and it is not even a week yet and they have been hit with an electric bill over 10K.
Akilah is a proud homeowner along with her husband, mother of two and dedicated business owner (Kissed by a Bee Organics) and cannot possibly endure these expenses and not become financially depleted in the process. She is not the only person going through this ordeal, but for now I am doing all I can to support her and bring a spotlight to this situation!
