My name is Charlie Davis. I’m raising funds for Jennifer Davis, my mother, who without aid will find herself without a home due to utility debt. For the past three months she has been without electricity or water in my childhood home. For years my mom has selflessly dedicated herself to providing our family with love, care, and support, but it’s not been easy. She struggles with her physical and mental health, and she’s in recovery, and everyday, particularly now, is a battle to maintain her sobriety. When the pandemic hit she lost her job and her mother and has struggled to mend the brokenness and recover financially.

The funds raised would go directly to alleviating the mounting utility debt that has burdened my mother and our entire family. This will not only secure her housing but will grant her the stability and serenity to start anew and focus on her sobriety and health. Any remaining funds will be used for medical expenses. In the past four years she broke both ankles, had all of her top teeth extracted, has become insulin dependent, and is now in need of physical therapy and follow up surgeries.
