Hi, my name is E.J. Rollins,

Between the hardships incurred by the COVID pandemic, a stage IV lymphoma diagnosis in 2023, along with the ensuing treatment and slow recovery, and difficulties in securing steady and gainful employment post-treatment, I’ve struggled with keeping my head above water financially.

What little work I’ve managed to get over the past year has unfortunately only been low paying, part time, and temporary, making it difficult to keep up with my living expenses, particularly my utility bills.

I’ve done my best with making partial payments, setting up payment installment arrangements, and making use of utility assistance programs when I can, but the cumulative charges have continued to pile up.

My gas service has unfortunately already been disconnected, and I am now relying on a couple of small space heaters to stay warm, and a small electric range for cooking, but now, as the balances on my remaining bills keep mounting, I am at severe risk of having them disconnected as well.

These are the current balances on the utilities I am trying to pay off:

Water: $1,465.66

Electric: $781.27

Gas: $592.33
