Cancer Research UK - Windermere Marathon

On Sunday the 15th of June 2025, I will be running in the Windermere Marathon. ‍♀️️

The pain that I will endure is nothing compared to the experience that cancer patients and their loved ones suffer.

My Grandad died of Cancer before I was born - I never got to meet him. Even though I never got to meet him, from a young age I could see the devastating impact this had on my mum and my Grandma. Cancer has haunted people I know for many years; friends, family members and friends of family. People young and old - taken far too soon. Cancer has changed their lives and the lives of people around them.

More recently, it has impacted people very close to me; that is why I have decided to run a Marathon for one of the most fundamental and important charities,
