Well I guess it all started back in 2013 when my father got terminal cancer. I took off work and used my emergency savings to help take care of him, in his last days of life.  As well as help pay for his funeral expenses. I went back to work after he had passed.  Then not long after his passing both my sisters moved away from California ,where we were living. This left me alone with my husband, son,  and also my disabiled mother to care for. I was trying to work and take her to appointments. She has had her back fused, breast cancer twice and a brain tumor (so she is partially paralyzed on her right side). She broke her pubic bone in January 2014 and was bed ridden for several months. I was trying my best to manage all that and a young son.  After a little while of alI this stress, I got a rash on my bum and face. I went to doctor and got  antibiotic. I was allergic to this antibotic. So the next morning was rushed to ER.  After that, I got big ulcers  all over my face, my back and a huge one that was my whole bicep ( of my right arm) I went to 5 dermatologists,  2 rheumatologist, and invefectious disease, allergist, wound clinic. They all couldn't figure it out, I had multiple tests that match some auto immune illness. However, I don't fit in one diagnoses to get a clear answers or how to cure. After a couple months of them spreading they reached my lower shin, right leg. It massively took off from there and caused  a mrsa infection and cellulitis.
I ended up in the ER 4 xs  getting IV  antibiotics. Now, I had lost my job because I used my Fmla earlier in the year, helping take care of my mother. I ended up hospitalized 5xs, -and going by ambulance 3xs- once, barely lived because I got a sepsis blood infection from leg that moved to heart. I got a home port Iv for antibiotics and home health care. The port came out in December, because they can not give me too many antibotics. I have spentt over 18000 in medical bills. Yet to find a answer. We will end up losing our home and way of life. They are finally able to confirm I have a autoimmune disease attacking my thyroid. The are now hopefully on the right road with tests. I still need several more blood tests, ct scan on my brain, and biopsies. To confirm what they now think it is. I have been down this road before, having them think they figured it out- only to
be told after more tests that was not what is was. So crossing fingers and praying this time they are right. Besides the doctor bills- I still can't work and we need food, rent, utilities. All the basic needs of life.
My husband works- but we are still getting hospital bills from last year, on top of new bills this year. We are asking for any help, just so we can have more time for a diagnosis. Also, any help will release some stress- which is one thing they believe is causing the ulcers to form.
Thank you for reading my story and if you donated you have no idea how much that helps. If you haven't donated if you wouldn't mind  seeing if you are able to. Also, if you can share my story through social media- trying to get the word out.
Thank you again- words can not describe how blessed I feel for the support I have gotten.
Much love and thanks-
