Utah Valley Eye Center-Mali

Hello, we are Utah Valley Eye Center and we are going on a volunteer service trip to Mali in West Africa in about 4 weeks. As technicians and physicians we will be providing our services to those in Mali who don't have the opportunity to get prescription glasses, reading glasses, cataract surgeries, or even be seen by a physician. In order for the cataract surgeries to be done in a timely manner we are raising money to purchase a sterilizing device for the surgical instruments. We also will be visiting a school for the completely blind. There are over 80 children who are having to double up in a twin bed because there aren't enough mattresses for all of them. So along with the sterilizing device we also are raising money to buy enough mattresses for the school of the completely blind.
