A lot of you already know how much Silver means to me. You have watched us grow together, she was an insecure, aggressive, high-strung mare. And I was just a shy kid trying to hide in the shadows. Together we both have grown into our confidence and strength. She has carried me through days when I was sure I didn’t want to continue breathing. And yet, her steady presence pulled me through. I know it’s kinda a cliche thing to say, but I mean this in the absolute most sincere way. Silver saved me. She is my heart horse.

This past week and a half has been horrible. The ups and downs of thinking she was recovering to the plunging despair of the potential of losing her. She isn’t giving up, and so I can’t either. She’s fighting to live.

I know that the past couple of years has been a struggle financially to everyone. Us included. And as much as I hate asking for help. I need it.
