It has been certainly very difficult to witness the devastating impact of the COVID-19 variant in India. The scale and severity of the situation is a grim reminder of how relentless, indiscriminate, and impactful this virus is.
Given its spread and India's population density, current situation has left the healthcare infrastructure crumbling in many parts of the country. Hospital beds, supply of oxygen, PPE kits and even crematorium spaces are in scarcity.
This is a call for help. As global citizens, this is an opportunity to step up to support those in need. This drive from MedX at Westview High School (San Diego, CA) will send all donations to Vibha (an aid group in California which has partnered with the New York-based celebrity chef Vikas Khanna to raise money to buy oxygen concentrators, P.P.E. kits and other supplies.)
