Hi I’m Sarah…..setting one of these up for yourself feels so awkward but here we are. On January 11th, my left kidney was removed due to a large tumor that was invading major veins and vessels. When the pathology came back it was discovered that I have a rare form of kidney cancer called Chromophobe Renal Cell Carcinoma. This rare type of kidney cancer only affects 5% of all kidney cancer patients a year. We will need to travel back and forth between either Helena and SLC or Helena and Seattle for further treatment and follow up. I have ten amazing kiddos and five beautiful grandbabies so anything and everything helps us manage this and still maintain our lives as normally as possible. Thank you in advance
