Hi, my name is Rocco.

I’m a Golden Mountain Dog — a gentle mix of Golden Retriever and Bernese Mountain Dog — and for the past 8.5 years, I lived a happy life in Vancouver with my loving mom, my human brother, and our feline companion.

Sadly, my world changed very suddenly when my mom passed away on May 16th. I needed a new home, new humans, and a lot of love to help me through my senior years.

That’s when Amanda and Nathan from Chilliwack stepped in with open hearts. On Sunday, May 26th, after just a brief meeting they welcomed me in without hesitation, even knowing I come with health issues and ongoing vet care needs.

They didn’t ask for help — but their kindness inspired friends to create this GoFundMe to support the cost of my medical care, vet visits, medications, and anything else that helps me live my best life in this new, loving chapter.
