Hi my name is Keon Johnson. I am 11 years old and I EAT, SLEEP, THINK and DREAM of BASEBALL a lot. It's my HAPPY PLACE /MY HAPPY SPACE. For the 3rd year in a row I tried out for the 2019 USSSA ALL AMERICAN SHOWCASE held in Atlanta area On June 5th and we were evaluated on everything from the 60 yd dash, to fielding, catching, velocity, my favorite pitching and catcher for those that catch. I am a pitcher, 3rd baseman, play SS, 1st base and a pretty good catcher too. I have a pretty good at bat and love stealing. As my mom would say, " put me anywhere there is grass, dirt, a diamond with bats, balls, gloves and a whole bunch of kids and I am my happiest. " If you dont know what USSSA All American Games it is where the United States is divided up into 8 regions and these regions go head to head for a whole week of baseball to see who can claim the title. Your team doesnt earn a spot.. Each individual kid has to go an AAG tryout to compete for THEIR own spot on the roster in their Region.... GUESS WHAT!!! I not only made the team my evaluation data was high enough that I made DIRECT SELCTION. I ran a 60 yd dash in 8.04 seconds, threw my best ever a 66mph Fastball, 56mph Change Up, My Exit Velocity was 69 and I had great Hitting, Power, Pitch Control and Mechanics. I practice everyday without being told. I hope to one day grow up and be in the MLB and I want to be the best me that I can. I am Thankful and Grateful for all the people who have helped me along the way and I am reaching out again. Old friends and new friends could you please donate to my GoFundMe page to help raise the funds I need for the 2019 All American Games. The biggest expense is Hotel Accomodations for 8 days, followed by transportation expense, nutrients for my every growing body as well as couple of pairs of new baseball pants and uniform accessories.
(From him mom Sheena): As a single parent and Cancer Survivor, I do the best that I can. He loves baseball so much and I want to thank everyone who has helped to pave this path for him over the years. So much he has been able to see and do from the generosity of others who see the desire burn in his eyes,in his soul for THE LOVE OF THE GAME.. So much negativity in the world, yet baseball has brought so many positives people places and things into his life. Please donate to help him on this journey (only have a few weeks to raise the amount).. If you can't donate, kind words and Prayers are always appreciated more than you know.. Share with your friends neighbors and coworkers.. Every $1 helps us reach the goal. GOD BLESS... Also for those that do not wish to use GoFundMe
I also a cashapp $SheenaMingo or if you wish you can donate directly to Keon in person.. Trust me he keeps track of every $$$$ that is designated for him..
