Hey Folks!

 

Welcome to your first journey with Team Orange Plastic Cats. Thank you so much for checking out my fundraiser for "PINEWOOD," a film I wrote and directed in June 2022. I'd love for you to watch more than this preview, but unfortunately, we need more cash. Filmmaking = money, but Josh's pockets are dry (COVID testing can only pay for so much Cinema). So any amount you can contribute would be greatly appreciated by our fantastic team and me.

 

I wrote this script in the summer of 2021, and it has stared me down from every reflective surface I pass ever since, chanting, "Maaaake meeeee." I believe this film will showcase what's in store for my future endeavors, and I will always think of your generosity whenever I'm pouring sweat in a coffee shop, hunched over my laptop.

 

PINEWOOD is a short dramedy film about a PINEWOOD (little wooden cars) derby. The story follows a workaholic father whose win-at-all-costs daughter drags him to her cub scouts derby race. Chaos ensues. Fin.

Where does the money go?

 

All proceeds will be used to pay off rented equipment, insurance, and other post-production costs. We also hope to submit Pinewood to quite a few festivals this fall and will use the remaining funds to give it the recognition our fantastic cast and crew deserve.
