USS NARWHAL (SSN 671) Memorial Bench

Narmates - there is a Submarine Cold War Memorial in Charleston SC near Patriot's Point. They have benches for boats that can be purchased for $3391.90. I was recently there visiting and they look pretty nice but USS NARWHAL is missing.

So I am starting this fund raiser to get us a bench. If you can donate, that would be great. We should have a bench there to memorialize NARWHAL's time in Charleston. This is focused on SSN-671.

Here is a link to the website. The exec director is Captain Rusty Pickett who I remember as a Squadron or Training instructor or something. I think he commanded Lipscomb out of Charleston. I am sure Captain Lincoln will set me straight.

I am starting the fund raiser with the first donation of $500. Let's get this thing done and installed!

As soon as I get 50% of the funds I will send the deposit and get things going. All funds go to the memorial bench. If any are left over we will give them to the Cold War Memorial.
