Support Mario's Family in Their Time of Need

Story

My brother, Mario, suffered a massive heart attack on April 22nd. He immediately went into cardiac arrest. While the EMTs were able to get his heart beating, it was only after approximately 30 minutes during which there was no blood flow or oxygen to his brain. He is currently on life support with no brain activity. Mario is my little brother, my mother's only son. He has a beautiful family of his own, including four amazing kids, and his first grandchild was just born. The pain we are feeling is immeasurable. Mario's condition is not good, and it's unlikely he will wake up. There are medical bills and funeral preparations that are financially overwhelming for his children and our family. Mario was only 45 years old; we never anticipated something like this would happen. He wasn't prepared for this either and had no insurance. The pain that all of us, especially his children, are suffering is unbelievable. The financial burden is unfathomable. We are reaching out to our friends and family, to Mario's friends and co-workers for help during this difficult time and help Mario's family and children grieve without having to worry about bills. Any amount will help, and if there is anything left over, it will be given to his children. Mario was a good kid, a great man, friend, son, brother, father, uncle, and grandpa.
